Passion

It is my truest passion to witness the transformation of individuals before my lens. My clients often tell me that their photo session was like therapy. Ideally, by the time the strobe has stopped popping and the lens cap goes on, my subjects have come into themselves completely. They are whole. They are beautiful. They are themselves. There is a healing to it, should they want it. We all want it. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get a lot from it. Every person I shoot is indeed a blessing in my life, and I appreciate them sharing themselves with me.

I’ve accomplished a lot creatively in my professional life. I started in the industry as a production artist, including some illustration here and there, spent many, many years as a print and web designer, copywriter, UI/UX expert, art director, and creative director. I’m also a musician and a cook, and I occasionally throw some oil paint on a canvas or make some jewelry. I just love to make stuff.

But my power and my passion are in photography, and I have always been a photographer.
